Frequently Asked Questions

Is acupuncture covered by insurance?.

Since health care policies vary, you should review your health insurance policy to determine if acupuncture treatments are covered. Although we do not work directly with insurance providers, we are always happy to provide the client with an invoice of treatments received to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Flex Spending accounts include acupuncture within their coverage. Massage therapy is reimbursable through Flex Spending with a physician's prescription. We also offer a discount in conjunction with Unity Health Insurance which includes 20% off an initial acupuncture treatment and $5 off return acupuncture sessions. Unity and Dean offer an annual health benefit of up to $100 per member for massage and acupuncture. Just let us know if you need a receipt or invoice.
